Description

The Cottage is a late 18th century or early 19th century cottage that has one storey and an attic, with its gable end facing the road. It features a high-pitched tiled roof with bargeboards on the gables. The walls are made of flint rubble, accented with alternating bands of red brick. There is a small casement window in the gable end, and on the left side, the ground floor has windows that are topped with brick hoodmoulds. The front of the cottage includes a canted bay with a tiled roof on the ground floor. A gabled rustic porch is situated between the windows on the side. At the back, there is a projecting extension. The cottage has casement windows that are fitted with small diamond glazing bars.
