Description

Old Post Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The walls are constructed of flint with brick dressings, and the roof is covered with red pantiles. The building is one storey high with an attic and consists of three bays, along with a one-bay extension on the west side.

On the ground floor, there are four, three, and two 2-light cast iron casement windows with glazing bars, all set under cambered rubbed brick arches. A simple brick eaves cornice runs along the top. The cottage features three dormers, each with 2-light cast iron casements and glazing bars. The gabled ends have coped parapets, and there are end stacks on the three-bay section of the house. A lean-to structure is present on the east side, and the central door has been replaced by a window.
