Description
The K6 telephone kiosk located on The Street in Warham is a Grade II listed structure. Made of cast iron and glass, this red-painted kiosk features a square shape with a domed roof, unperforated crowns on the top panels, and margin glazing on the windows and doors.
Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1935 to commemorate the jubilee of King George V, the K6 is an iconic example of industrial design that reflects a Neoclassical style adapted for modern use.
