Description
Long Acre is a house from the 18th century located on the south side of Warham The Street. The building features walls made of flint with red brick dressings and a roof covered in red pantiles. It has two storeys and a lobby entrance, with four irregular bays. The ground floor is constructed of flint, while the first floor is made of brick. The windows are iron casements with glazing bars; the ground floor windows are set under cambered arches, and the first floor windows have wooden lintels. There is a 1.5 storey porch made of flint with brick dressings and a hipped roof covered in pantiles. The house has a brick dentil cornice, one stack at one end, and an off-centre stack. Additionally, there is a single storey south extension with one fixed iron casement window featuring glazing bars. The casements indicate that this was formerly a cottage associated with the Holkham Estate.
