Description

No. 34 The Street in Warham is an 18th-century cottage constructed with red brick and flint, topped with a red pantile roof. The north side facing the road features one storey with two bays, along with a two-bay west extension. The building has a brick plinth, a dentil cornice, and brick parapet gables, with one stack at one end and an off-centre stack. The west gable is made of flint, with brick quoins and dressing, and the attic window has been filled in. The south front entrance has a five-bay ground floor with 19th-century cast iron casements that include glazing bars. A wooden porch is present, along with four dormers featuring cast iron casements and glazing bars. The architectural details suggest that this was once a cottage associated with the former Holkham Estate.
