Description

No. 9 Broad Street is a town house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the late 18th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building features a brick first floor and a ground floor with painted render and quoins. It is two storeys tall and has an open plan on the ground floor. The façade includes a platband, a modillion course at the eaves level, and a parapet with plain stone coping. The front has three bays, with tripartite sash windows on the first floor that are topped with flat gauged brick arches. The ground floor has a 20th-century shopfront that is not of special interest.
