Description

This is a pair of early to mid-19th century houses located on Cookham Road. The houses are rendered, with lines painted to suggest brickwork. They have a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and two chimneys, one central and one on the left-hand side. The first floor has six double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set into reveals and with stone sills. On the ground floor, four windows extend to ground level. Number 52 retains an original, delicate fanlight over the door on its south-facing elevation. A later extension has been added to the rear of the property.
