Description

The Hyde, originally one house and now divided into three separate dwellings, was constructed in the early 19th century. The building's exterior is rendered and colourwashed, with a hipped slate roof, overhanging eaves, and chimneys featuring mostly original pots. The west elevation has three bays, featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars within reveals, stone sills, and blind boxes on the first floor. The ground floor windows are French casements, and there is a segmental bay to the right-hand side, returning on the south elevation. A full-width verandah with fluted wood columns runs along the front. Internally, original doors, window cases, and door furniture remain.
