Description
Number 9 Castle Hill Terrace is a mid-19th century villa that stands two stories tall. It features a hipped slate roof with flanking chimneys. The front is finished in stucco with channel joints and is color washed, displaying a flat band at the first floor. The facade is symmetrical with three bays.
On the first floor, the windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, while the center window has fixed lights divided by a heavy wooden mullion. These windows are adorned with moulded architraves and stone sills.
The ground floor has French casement windows on either side of a half-glazed door that includes marginal glazing. There is a raised verandah with a pent roof supported by later square timber columns, along with a railing and glazed end panels.
