Description

Number 12 is an early to mid-19th century detached villa. It is constructed of stucco and has a hipped, slated roof with projecting eaves and tall slab chimney stacks. The villa is three storeys high, with a semi-basement. It has three windows on each main elevation. A doorway is located on the left-hand return, featuring Doric half columns supporting an entablature, above a fanlight and half-glazed door. The windows are recessed sash windows, with console bracketed cornices below the ground floor windows and architraves framing the first-floor windows. A projecting cornice runs along the second floor level. The interior has not been inspected. Attached to the property is a stuccoed garden wall with cast-iron railings, gate piers, and a cast-iron gate.
