Description

Numbers 7 and 8 are a semi-detached pair of villas dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco and have double-pitched roofs with a tall central chimney stack, designed in the Gothic style. The villas are three storeys high, with semi-basements, and each has a single window fronting the street. The gable fronts are battlemented.

Number 7 has a 20th-century verandah, and its entrance features pilaster-jambs supporting a cornice head, a patterned fanlight, and a panelled door. Number 8 has an entrance on its return side. Both villas have square-headed sash windows with pointed lights and dripmoulds. Cast-iron window guards are present on the ground and first floors, and a continuous sill band runs along the first floor. The interiors have not been inspected.

Attached to the villas are cast-iron railings, with torch flambe finials, set upon low garden walls.
