Description

A pair of semi-detached villas dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco and are four storeys high, with No.13A having two storeys and No.14 having three. Each villa has two windows and recessed entrance extensions. The doorways are round-arched and architraved, featuring patterned fanlights and panelled doors. The windows are set in shallow round-arched recesses which run the full height of the houses. The first floor has French windows accompanied by a continuous cast-iron bracketed balcony with lattice work and a canopy with an enriched pelmet. The second and third floors feature recessed sash windows. No.14 has a segmental headed tripartite sash window on its first floor as part of a later extension. The interiors were not inspected. Attached to the property are low brick garden walls with cast-iron railings.
