Description

Numbers 18 and 19 Downshire Hill are a pair of early 19th-century terraced houses designed to appear as a single residence. They are constructed of yellow stock brick, three storeys high, with two windows on each floor plus a central blind window. Each doorway has a gauged brick round arch containing a patterned fanlight and panelled door. The recessed hornless sash windows are similarly topped with gauged brick flat arches. A stone-coped parapet tops the facade, and a faded painted tablet inscribed “Weymouth Place” is located above the central second-floor window. The interiors have not been inspected. Attached to the property are low brick garden walls with cast-iron railings, along with gate piers and a gate.
