Description
Numbers 1 and 2 are a pair of terraced houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of yellow stock brick, featuring stuccoed ground floors and first-floor bands. Number 2 has a later tiled mansard roof. The houses are three storeys high with basements and have a double fronted design with three windows each. The central doorcases are stuccoed and supported by pilasters, topped with an entablature, and feature panelled doors; Number 1 is accessed by steps. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and recessed sashes, with the outer bays having tripartite windows. Number 1 has a blind window on the ground floor to the left, while Number 2 has blind windows on the ground floor to the right and a central blind window on the first floor. The parapets are adorned with dentils along the coping. The attached cast-iron railings at Number 1 have tasselled spearhead finials. The interior has not been inspected.
