Description

Numbers 2 and 3 Holly Bush Hill are a pair of symmetrical terraced houses built in the mid-18th century, and later refaced in the 19th century in a Georgian style. The houses are constructed of multi-coloured stock brick, and extend over three storeys plus a basement. Each house has two windows within projecting, full-height canted outer bays, with a single blind window in the central bay. Round-arched entrances are linked by impost bands, and contain recessed panelled doors with radial fanlights above. The recessed sash windows are set within gauged red brick flat arches. A parapet tops the facade. The building is characterised by two tall brick slab chimney stacks, each buttressed by a narrower, angled and stepped stack. The rear facade retains its original brown brickwork and features segmental-arched, flush-framed sash windows. The interiors have not been inspected. Attached cast-iron railings with spearhead and pineapple finials run along the front areas.
