Description
Numbers 10 and 11 are a pair of attached houses built in the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 20th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature brick party wall stacks, topped with a tiled roof. The style is Early Georgian, and the plan is double-depth.
The exterior consists of three storeys with a two-window range. The front has a parapet, a low rendered plinth, and a thin brick cornice on No. 11. There are early 19th century paired central doorways with half-round architraves, corner roundels, rectangular overlights, and 19th century six-panel doors. The windows have segmental-arched brick heads and sashes in exposed flush frames; No. 10 has 19th century two-over-two pane sashes, while No. 11 features 18th century six-over-six pane sashes. Above the doorway of No. 11 is a small matching blind window. The upper floor of No. 11 was rebuilt in the mid to late 20th century.
An attached length of iron railing is present between the doorways. Prospect Row was built between 1705 and 1756 and is part of a notable terrace of early to mid Georgian houses.
