Description
No. 7 Prospect Row is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a lateral stack, although the roof is not visible. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a basement, presenting a three-window range. The front is parapeted, and there is a left-hand doorway that is framed by an early 19th-century porch made of thin cast-iron reeded posts and a plain canopy. The doorway has a segmental-arched head and a six-panel door with glazed top panels. The windows are segmental-arched plate-glass sashes with exposed frames, and there are low basement lights. The interior has not been inspected. This house is part of a notable mixed terrace of early to mid-Georgian houses that were built in the area between 1705 and 1756.
