Description
Number 3 Clifton Villas is a villa built around 1860. It is two storeys high and constructed from coursed, roughly dressed sandstone, featuring ashlar quoins, a plinth, and a sill band. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, having flat eaves. The villa has a three-window front with a narrow recessed centre. The first-floor windows are surrounded by ashlar and have plain aprons that extend down to the sill band. On the ground floor, there are ashlar canted bay windows. The entrance features a recessed doorway with pilasters and an entablature, with a door that has two vertical panels and a rectangular fanlight above. This villa is part of a cul-de-sac of villas set in large, well-wooded gardens.
