Description

The barn at Chalkpit Farm, located about 35 metres north of Bath Road, is a disused structure dating from the late 17th century. It is built of brick in English bond and features an old tiled roof that is hipped with gablets. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of five bays, with a waggon entry on the east side. The walls have blocked ventilating slots. Inside, the roof is exposed and features queen struts with butt purlins.
