Description

This small barn, located approximately 20 metres south of Willow Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded with some brick infill and has an old tiled gabled roof. The barn has a rectangular plan consisting of four framed bays, with a gabled midstrey located in the second bay from the right on the east side. Inside, the original frame is nearly complete, displaying carpenters' marks in the correct sequence. The roof structure includes queen struts with clasped purlins, large curved knee braces, and curved windbraces. There are two 20th-century additions on the east front, which are not of special interest.
