Description
Norris's Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a cottage. It dates from the early 17th century and has undergone restoration and alterations in the 19th century. The building features a brick facing over a timber frame, with some of the timber framing visible on the side elevation. The upper part of the front elevation is adorned with patterned tile hanging, and it has a half hipped plain tiled roof with a catslide at the rear. The layout follows a lobby entry plan and the structure is one and a half storeys high. A pentice runs across the front elevation, which includes two eaves dormers and a large central stack. The front elevation is symmetrical, showcasing three-light casement windows below two-light dormers, with a central boarded door that is sheltered by a pent hood.
