Description

Ivy Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century, 18th century, and 20th century. It has a painted render exterior and a thatched, half-hipped roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is connected to Box Hedge Cottage on the east side. It stands one and a half storeys tall and features two dormers; the dormer on the west has thatch swept around it, while the one on the east is cut into the thatch. There is a stack at the west end of the ridge. On the south elevation, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed glazed extension that spans the entire ground floor, along with a two-light 20th-century casement window in the dormers and a central door.
