Description
The stable block to Chaddleworth House is a late 18th-century structure. It is built of grey brick and features red rubbed arches, moulded red brick cornices, and caps to the pediments, as well as red brick tympana. The roof is made of slate and the building has a rectangular plan with one storey.
On the south elevation, the design is symmetrical, with outer bays that have gabled pediments above double boarded doors set in openings with cambered heads. The central two bays contain simple windows flanking single doors, all within pedimented brick surrounds. Notably, there are 20th-century doors that have been cut across the window opening to the left.
