CLYFFE PYPARD BUSHTON Merrythatch (Formerly listed as Cottage on west side of road approximately 120 yards North East of Bushton Farmhouse)

Farmhouse, now cottage. C17 (1621). Timber framed with brick and wattle and daub infill. Half hipped thatched roof. 3½ bays with lobby entry in half bay, end on to street. One storey and attic. Framing has corner braces, timber casement windows and dormers. Interior stone stack with timber overmantle beam, not inspected. Cast iron slurry pump to former cowhouse in yard 20 m east of cottage.
