Description
Woodhill Park Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse, built in 1804 by Richard Pace of Lechlade. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond with stone dressing and features a slated mansard roof, complete with gable stacks and dormers. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a central entrance leading to the garden. The entrance bay is slightly projected and includes a simple stone-faced porch. The first floor has sash windows, and there is a lunette in the swept-up gable that is topped with three ball finials. The side bays also have sash windows, with the ground floor featuring a centre light that has a blind rounded head and heavy timber lintels on the upper floor. The 18th-century rear section has been entirely refaced and modernised. Inside, the reception rooms in the front block have simple wood fire surrounds with tiled cheeks and a straightforward drawn cornice.
