Finches is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It has been refaced with stone and brick and features a thatched roof that is half hipped at the rear. The building has a two-bay plan and is positioned adjacent to No 14 Wood Street. It includes a gable end stack, mid-20th century wood casement windows, and a central lean-to porch. The rear of the cottage has been extended with 20th-century additions. It is listed for its group value with No 14 and No 13.
