Description

Hillcrest is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, originally constructed of stone rubble and later faced with brick in the 20th century, with the exception of the rear wall. It has a thatched roof with gabled ends. The cottage is single-storied and has a four-window front. It features modern casement windows and a plank door on the left-hand side. A brick ridge stack is situated centrally, and another stack is present at the north end. The building is included on the listing for its contribution to the wider group value of the area.
