Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on Cherry Orton Road in Orton Waterville. The building is constructed of coursed stone with flush quoins, and it features a thatched roof with stone coping to the gable ends. It is one storey high with an attic, and has three dormers at the eaves. The ground floor has two windows, both old two-light casements. A further casement window with glazing bars is located beneath the eaves between the ground floor and the roof. A modern door is centrally positioned. The ground floor windows and doorway are each topped with chamfered wooden lintels. Rebuilt brick end stacks are present.
