Description
This is a 17th-century house located on Cherry Orton Road in Orton Waterville. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble with a steeply pitched Belgium tile roof. The north end of the roof is gabled with a stone coping, while the south end is hipped. The house is one storey and has an attic. It has a three-window front, featuring two original three-light casement windows and one modern casement. A ledged door is positioned to the right of the centre, and it is topped by a modern pediment. There are three gabled semi-dormers, each with stone coping and ashlar jambs; the gable of the left-hand dormer has brick infill. An ashlar ridge stack is located off-centre, and another stack is positioned at the north end, both of which have been heightened with brick.
