Description

Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century house located in Little Somerford. It is constructed of rubble stone with stone slate roofs, featuring a 20th-century ridge stack and an outside stack at the north end. The house has two storeys and an attic, with an L-shaped plan. The main range has two small hipped dormers on the left side, above a pair of casements. There is a single casement and a pair of casements on the same side, along with a ground-floor triple casement and a 6-panel door, with a flat hood supported by iron brackets. To the right of the door is one casement pair to the first floor and two ground floor triple casements. The projecting wing, at the right end of the west front, has a pair of casements on each floor to its west-facing wall, and one casement to the north side. The rear wall includes various casements and a single 16-pane sash window. A two-storey, two-window brick outbuilding, with a stone slate roof, is attached to the south end of the house.
