Description

Downs Cottage is a cottage, probably from the 17th century, with a refacing from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble and brick, possibly incorporating some timber framing. The cottage features a thatched roof with gable ends and brick stacks at each end. It has one and a half storeys and a three-window range. The facade facing the road includes two three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, which flank a part-glazed front door.
