Description

Nos 7 to 11 Northbrook Street is a terrace of two or three houses, built around 1790, now functioning as a single residence. The rear of the building has been rebuilt. It stands three storeys high, featuring eight windows on the first floor and five on the second. The exterior is made of multi-coloured stock brick and includes a moulded brick cornice, a rebuilt parapet, and a plain band at the second floor level. The slightly recessed sash windows have gauged flat brick arches, exposed boxing, and glazing bars. There is a modern shopfront at the ground level, and a lead rainwater head inscribed with the year 1790. This building is included for its group value of the frontage.
