Description
Nos 2 to 5 Friends' School Yard is an 18th-century house that has been altered, divided, and extended. The building is two storeys tall and consists of three bays with wide proportions. It features a pantiled roof with a chimney at the left end and is constructed of pinkish brick. The ground floor has gauged flat brick arches above the left window, while the right window is hidden behind a one-storey projecting addition. In between these windows are two four-panel doors with oblong fanlights, which are set in a stuccoed panel beneath a modern flat hood. On the first floor, there are two original sash windows with glazing bars framed by wood architraves, along with a small central light. The rear elevation includes four-paned casements.
