Description
No. 11 Skinnergate is a two-storey house dating from around 1700. It has two windows, with the left bay featuring an elliptical archway that provides access to the British School Yard. The exterior is finished in stucco with incised lines and has a later wooden eaves cornice. The roof has been replaced with modern ridged tiles. The front features large modern casement windows above and a modern shopfront below. The rear elevation displays a finely-gauged brick arch and high-quality old brickwork. The building is included in the listing partly for its architectural features and partly for its group value with nearby structures.
