Description
No. 17 Belvidere Road is a house from the 1860s, now part of a school. It is constructed of brick with stucco and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring five bays. There is a sill band on the first floor and a modillioned cornice at the top. The corners are accentuated with rusticated quoins. The windows are framed with architraves, and those on the ground and first floors include keystones. The central window on the first floor is adorned with a frieze and a consoled cornice. The first bay features a two-storey canted bay window. There is an Ionic porch with a half-glazed doorcase and door. To the right, there is a two-storey, three-bay extension.
