Description
No. 33 Bondgate is an early to mid-18th century house that stands two storeys high and features two windows. It has a very steeply pitched roof that has been renewed with modern ridged tiles and includes a chimney at the left end. The exterior is finished in stucco with incised lines and a band at the first floor. The house has recessed sash windows with glazing bars situated above a modern square bay shop front. To the left, there is a late 19th-century half-glazed door framed by pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. At the back, a one-storey link connects to the remaining bay of another 18th-century house, which now appears to be part of this property.
