Description
45 and 47 Bondgate is a two-storey building from the 18th century, originally constructed as one house. The front of the building is now covered in stucco and features a diagonal brick cornice and a pantiled roof. The original sash windows have been replaced with new ones set in flush wood architraves. There are two mid-19th century doors with oblong fanlights, framed by wood doorcases with pilasters and an entablature, which flank an alley entrance. Beyond the doors, there are two small plain shop windows. At the back, there is a five-window elevation made of soft red brick from the 18th century, which has blocked windows under near-flat arches.
