Description

No. 67 Bondgate is an 18th-century, two-storey house that was originally designed with five bays, although the central window has been removed. The building features a double pile layout with a passage leading to the back door. The high-pitched roof has been replaced with modern ridged tiles, and the walls are now covered in roughcast. On the first floor, there are sash windows set within flush wood architraves. The ground floor has early 19th-century bays that flank a four-panel door, which is topped with a cornice head and an oblong fanlight. This door is framed by a wood doorcase with pilasters and an entablature, and its height necessitated the removal of the first-floor window during its installation.
