Description

No. 4 Brand Lane is an 18th-century house featuring painted render over rubble and a plain tile roof with a brick stack at the rear. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, with a five-window range of 19th-century 6/3 sash windows set in beaded frames, complete with stone sills. The eaves are moulded wood, and there are two 18th-century dormers with casements, along with one dormer from the 19th century. The central entrance boasts a six-panel door beneath a moulded pediment hood supported by pilasters. Inside, there is an 18th-century dogleg stair with stick balusters. Additionally, there is a late 19th-century wing at the rear that includes a first-floor bay.
