Description

No. 3 Brand Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is three storeys high and has a cellar, featuring a three-window range with 6/6 sash windows in moulded cases. These windows are set under gauged brick flat arches, with painted key blocks and sills. Above, there are two 3/3 sash windows and one 6/3 sash window, and the house has moulded wood eaves. The entrance is located to the right and consists of a six-fielded panel door in a beaded frame, topped with an overlight in a round-headed case. This is supported by an open pediment hood on stone Doric pilasters. The cellar has a cambered arch made of chamfered brick.
