Description
No. 13 Brand Lane is a house dating from the 17th century that was restored in the mid-20th century. The exterior features a rendered timber frame and a slate roof, with old plain tiles on the rear wing. The house has three storeys and a cellar, presenting a three-window range with 20th-century 6/6 sash windows in moulded cases, along with similar 3/6 sash windows above. To the left, there is a six-fielded panel door in a beaded case with a stop-chamfered architrave, alongside a mullion and transom window with leaded lights and a central upper casement. A garage door is located to the far right, all situated under a jetty supported by reeded brackets and pilasters. The two-storey wing at the rear has a plain tile roof and a brick stack, featuring a late 19th-century coloured leaded light and a mullion and transom window. The building also has a firemark.
