Description

These are two late 18th-century houses, now offices, located on Broad Street in Ludlow. The front is roughcast, with a Welsh slate roof and brick end stacks. The buildings are four storeys high, with a four-window front. The upper windows are 2/2 sashes, with two windows to the right in beaded cases, and smaller 2/2 sashes above. There is a moulded wooden eaves detail. Central entrances are located on either side; the one on the right has a 20th-century door with glazed panels, and the one on the left is a 19th-century six-panel door, both with overlights, panelled cases, and flat hoods supported by 20th-century restored pilasters. A 19th-century canted bay window with a central 2/2 sash and a moulded hood is located on the right, set within an altered opening. A 20th-century 1/1:2/2:1/1 sash window is found on the left.
