Description

No. 9 Brand Lane is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a shallow pitch slate roof with a brick end stack. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with 8/8 sash windows set in broad beaded cases that have cambered heads beneath segmental arches. The central door, which is from the 20th century, is also in a beaded case with a cambered head under a segmental arch. This door is flanked by early 20th-century cross windows that have upper casements, also under segmental arches. There is an angled return to the left of the building.
