Description

No. 26 Broad Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features a stucco façade over stone with a brick stack at the rear and a central staircase plan. The building stands three stories tall with a cellar and has a three-window range. The central window is a 6/6 sash, flanked by two 8/8 sashes, all set in beaded frames above a continuous sill band. There is a wood cornice and a parapet that has a moulded and corbelled wood cornice. The central entrance consists of a six-fielded panel door with an overlight, set in a plain case beneath a moulded flat hood supported by 20th-century pilasters. The entrance is flanked by the 8/8 sash windows and sits over a dressed stone plinth.
