Description

The property at 12 Brand Lane is a house with origins in the 17th century, later restored in the mid-20th century. The ground floor is stuccoed, while the first and second floors are roughcast over a timber frame. The roof is slate, with a brick end stack. The house is three storeys high, plus a cellar, and has a two-window frontage. It contains 8/8 sash windows in beaded cases on the second floor, and similar 4/8 sash windows above. A 19th-century door, featuring four fielded panels and a glazed upper panel within a beaded case and an etched light in a moulded case, is located on the right side. To the left is a 19th-century 8/8 sash window with shutters.
