Description
No. 35 Guildhall Street is a house dating from the 17th to 18th century. It has a timber-framed structure with roughcast rendering and plain tiles, some of which are from the 20th century. The building is two storeys high with attics and features two windows on each storey, all of which are 12-pane sashes set in moulded flush cased frames. There is one segmental-headed dormer that contains a 2-light casement window with a vertical glazing bar. At the south end, there is a single-storey lean-to with one window that has a single vertical glazing bar. The central door is adorned with ornate sunk moulded panels and is topped by a flat bracketed cornice hood. Each gable end has an external chimney stack. The interior has not been inspected, but it is said to have exposed timbering.
