Description
This building, located at 57 Guildhall Street in Bury St Edmunds, is an early 19th-century house. The front is made of white brick and slate, while the rear is constructed from red brick. It has two storeys and a cellar, featuring a two-window range with sash windows set in flush moulded frames. Each window has a single vertical glazing bar and flat gauged arches above. The central entrance features a six-panelled door within a wooden doorcase that includes panelled pilasters and a pediment supported by enriched console brackets, which are uniquely decorated with hanging bunches of grapes. The two-storey rear range has a gabled roof and a large canted bay window on the first storey. The interior has not been inspected.
