Description
The Slaters Arms is an early to mid-18th century building located on the south side of Bondgate. It is two storeys high with three irregularly placed windows. The building is notably deep and features a roof that is now covered with slate and has a moderate pitch. The front is finished in stucco with raised quoins. The windows have been replaced with sashes set in proud moulded architraves. The public house has a shop window type front between two doors, which date from the mid to late 19th century. The door surrounds are decorated with pilasters and an entablature, although the left door has been altered.
