Description
Nos 16 to 20 Brunswick Place is a terrace built around 1840. The buildings are three storeys high, constructed from yellow stock bricks, and topped with a hipped slate roof. They feature a flat brick cornice made of five courses of brickwork, with the bottom course slightly projecting. There are nine-inch soldiers flush with nine inches of recessed brickwork between them, and two projecting courses above the parapet with stone coping. A stucco stringcourse runs above the ground floor. Each house has one window with a semi-circular cantilevered bow, flanked by strip pilasters between three lights that support a frieze and moulded cornice. On the ground floor, there is one window centrally located under the bow and a small five-panelled door on the right-hand side, topped with a fanlight. All windows have one central glazing bar.
