Description
35 Carlton Crescent is a building dating from around 1830. It has three storeys, a basement, and attics, with the ground floor finished in rusticated stucco. The roof is modern and tiled, featuring three dormers, and there is stone coping along the top. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the edge of the roof, and pilasters separate the windows on the first and second floors. Above the first floor, there is a moulded stringcourse. The first floor has three sash windows, most of which retain their glazing bars, and features a cast iron balcony with an anthemion and heart design. The building has a plinth and a central round-headed doorcase. The rear elevation is partially hung with Devonshire slates.
